Get to know me a little.
Hello! I’m Anita Prekpaljaj - Portrait Photographer in the Netherlands. Born and raised in Croatia. After finishing my studies in Zagreb, I’ve found my home in the Netherlands, where I settled down for longer.
Photography is how I translate the world when words fall short. I capture people, brands, connections - not just as they appear, but as they feel.
I believe every person carries a story, and I love creating a space where people can express themselves freely while I reflect their essence through my vision.
My artistic name is InamorAnita, a play on words of innamorata (it.) - in love. I am forever in love with the little things in life, and I passionately capture the beauty of these meaningful but fleeting details.
The most fulfilling part of photography for me is making connections with people and creating unforgettable memories that stay for life.
My other passions in life include:
painting, old jazz, mindfulness, freshly brewed coffee, time with loved ones and exploring different cultures.
I have a degree in Social pedagogy, a social-humanistic study that focuses on working with people with emotional & behavioral problems. I am very proud of this achievement and love using my knowledge everything I do.
If I had to describe myself in 3 words, it would be: talkative, romantic and adventurous.
My favorite movie is a romcom of course, called About time, but I very much enjoy a good sci-fi or mystery film.
My approach to every client is thoughtfully tailored to your vision, goals, and personality.
Whether you feel completely at ease in front of the camera or need a little guidance, I’m here to create an experience that feels comfortable and genuinely enjoyable.
I’m always happy to guide you with subtle posing tips and direction while allowing space for authentic moments to unfold naturally.
My photography style blends cinematic and documentary storytelling, capturing moments as naturally and truthfully as possible. I focus on creating timeless images that feel real, emotive, and true to you.
I work primarily with natural light and use light, refined editing to enhance each image while preserving its authenticity.
At the moment, I do not work in a studio setting.
Sessions take place in environments that feel meaningful and comfortable to you; whether that’s your home, office, or a beautiful outdoor location. If you’re unsure of the perfect setting, we can always brainstorm ideas together to find the right backdrop for your story.
My approach
Step 1: Getting to know you
During an initial consultation, we get clear on your wishes. We discuss the possible dates, location and general direction of the photoshoot.
Step 2: Preparation
After the initial communication, we agree on the location, style of photos. If needed, I can prepare a moodboard and help you with styling tips.
Step 3: The shoot
During the photoshoot, I can assist you with some subtle posing tips, should you need them. We work together on creating the perfect result for you.
Step 4: Selection and delivery
After the shoot, I will send you an online gallery so you can select your favorites. Then comes the editing. Within two weeks, you will receive the final photos.
